EduKick is very excited and proud to offer EduKick Israel - Academic & Hebrew Studies Residential Soccer Academy! EduKick now offers young soccer players from around the world the professional soccer training & Hebrew language experience of a lifetime! Two (2) to nine (9) month options with EduKick Israel are available. During the course EduKick Israel soccer players will train daily in a high-level football course designed to build their technical ability and fitness while also increasing their tactical understanding of the "beautiful game."

Additionally in our program, EduKick Israel youth players will study the history of the “Holy” Jewish land...and have the option to study American High School or College courses (Hebrew Language Study). They will meet Israeli friends and families and engage in daily intercultural exchange with other Israeli young people while being fully immersed in Israeli culture and Hebrew language.

The EduKick Israel Academic & Hebrew Studies Residential Football/Soccer Academy is for boys and girls 15-22 years old (both High School & Hebrew language study only options are available) that are competitive soccer players (meaning they play throughout the year and are committed to their soccer development). For our older players (age 17-22), in order to be inserted onto a local Israeli team they will have to meet the minimum standards of our affiliated Israeli soccer junior teams (equivalent to Division 2 or 3 in the American college system). Players are selceted for match play based on ability; the decision to play in matches is made by local Israeli coaches, not EduKick. Players will train 4-5 times daily per week.

High School age players from 15-18 years of age can be accommodated with either intermediate or high/elite levels.

Interested student-players must also submit academic transcripts (grade reports) for consideration into our High School courses. A completed Registration will include the 2010 EduKick General Registration form, current or last year's academic transcripts, a soccer resume and deposit payment.

The program is based at Mosenson High School campus located in Hod HaSharon, Israel. Hod HaSharon (הוד השרון "Splendor of the Sharon" in Hebrew) is a city in the Center District of Israel. Officially declared a city in 1990, Hod HaSharon was created from the union of four neighboring settlements: Magdiel, Ramatayim, Hadar, and Ramat Hadar. Its official land area is 19.239 square kilometers, and according to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), in December 2004 the city had a total population of 41,700.

EduKick Israel participants will enroll at Mosenson High School and enjoy full room and board, study Hebrew daily, and attend football/soccer trainings at the beautiful campus or at an affiliated off-campus football pitch.

See EduKick Israel Program Director Dr. Yuval Higger (at right). Dr. Higger is a Professor of Biomechanics at Wingate/Ohalo University and is the EduKick Israel General Director and will be overseeing all details of EduKick Israel programs.

EduKick Israel players will train for a minimum of 2.0 hours daily under the guidance of Amit Rockman, Head Coach, Junior Department, Macabbi Tel Aviv F.C. and assisted by Elad Higger, Dr. Higger's son a graduate of Hapoel Tel Aviv / CFAR SABA Junior Program and played for the Israeli Junior National Team!

Individuals who join our junior program and possess ability to train at professinal clubs will play at Maccabi Tel Aviv, or Cfar Saba, or Hod Hasharon Football Clubs. Please note that this is UPON RECRUITMENT and based on athletic/football level of player. EduKick Israel Academy Team will practice at Cfar Saba or Hod Hasharon Football club, which is located 5-15 minutes from Mosenson Campus (Alexander Muss High School) in Hod Hasharon.

Strength, agility & physical training sessions will take place at the Hod- Hasharon Country Club. Our affiliated "County Club" has a fully equipped modern gym, indoor swimming pool, spa, outdoor mini soccer pitch, tennis and basketball courts. Hod Hasharon Country Club is located just 10 minutes (walking) from Mosenson campus.

EduKick Israel Football Training Program:
A minimum of 12-15 hours of football/soccer training per week.
Weekly schedule:
Morning – Attend School
2:00pm – 4:00pm – Soccer Training (4 or 5 times per week)
5:00pm – 6:00pm – physical training (3 times per week)
Football Matches - One (1) match weekly (either with local Israeli club team or friendly match/scrimmage with EduKick Israel Academy squad)

Academic Options at EduKick Israel:
1. Hebrew Language Studies: Hebrew studies for individuals, typically attended by 18-22 year olds that have already graduated from High School. Attend daily classes (Monday-Friday) held at an official Hebrew language school, which in Israel is called “ULPAN” - students will be allocated to classes according to their language level.

2. American High School Studies: 15-18 years old high school students will study courses at the Alexander Muss American High School in Israel. Our affiliated educational partners, Alexander Muss, offers US School system accredited and transferable coursework.

3. Undergraduate University - students will be guided to enroll and study at the Tel Aviv University or at the Open University in Rannana.

EduKick Israel Boarding Information:
Three (3) Boarding options will be considered (depending on number of participants):

1. Boarding at the Mosenson high school in Hod Hasharon (full board)
2. Family Housing at individual host families in Hod Hasharon/Cfar Saba (boarding+breakfast and dinner)
3. Academy housing – rented home in Hod Hasharon (fully supervised 24 hours by counselor +breakfast and dinner)

Five (5) full day tours to Jerusalem (2), The Dead Sea & Mezada, Galilee, and Golan Heights will arranged as part of the full nine (9) month EduKick Israel program
Five (5) "Optional" Tours (fee not included in tuition)
Two and Three day field trip tours to Eilat, Negev, Haifa, and more will be offered on "free" weekends.
Meet & Visit Israeli Families & Friends Opional):- weekend visit to a Kibbutz will offered. This will present a unique opportunity to meet Israeli families and Israeli youth peers
