EduKick is very proud to introduce the opening of "EduKick Vallarta 2009 - 20-Day Summer Soccer Camp " - Spanish Language & Mexican Culture Soccer Training Programs hosted by "CODEFUT", organizers of the popular annual international soccer tournament, "Copa Vallarta!"

We are very excited to bring this unique Spanish language immersion soccer development camp to soccer players around the world that want to train daily and study Spainsh in this beautiful Mexican resort town.

EduKick also offers "weekly" (7 day) individual training (and Spanish language study) camps for boys & girls from 10-24 years of age.

Students will stay at a Plaza Pelicanos a 3 star hotel located in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's hotel district. In the case of 12 or less campers in the summer course, players will "Home Stay" with our affiliated Mexican "Host Families."

This is a very unique camp experience opportunity that combines international travel, daily Spanish language instruction, Mexican cultural education, high-level professional soccer training, and eco-excursions together in one summer camp!

The "EduKick Vallarta" program is open to those teens ages 10 and Up interested in Mexican cultural exposure through daily Spanish language instruction, eco-excursions, and intense soccer training sessions by experienced professional Mexican coaches.

Summer Camp Program Highlights:

Summer Camp Tuition Includes:
• Airport transportation to/from Hotel or Host Residence to Puerto Vallarta International airport

• “Reception Party” the day of our arrival with CODEFUT & EduKick staff, teachers attending
• Bilingual Director to accompany the EduKick group daily throughout the program
• Daily soccer training by professional technical staff for a minimum of two hours daily. Ratio of one (1) coach per 15 youth.
• Evening training sessions: EduKick inter- squad scrimmages every other day
• Daily bus/van transport or bus pass to all sports training, matches, and social activities
• Guided walking tour of Puerto Vallarta & “Welcoming” presentation on the second day of camp
• Daily Spanish language lessons (M-F - 2 hours per session) & all language materials
• Language lessons taught by two (2) native, qualified, experienced, and licensed Mexican teachers (EduKick requires that the teachers follow a progressive and organized curriculum)
• Two (2) guided full-day eco-excursions
• Bus/van transportation for both full-day excursions
• Three (3) social activities per week (i.e. disco, BBQ, etc.)
• Organized “Intercambio” with local Mexican youth & EduKick youth
• “EduKick Vallarta” youth tournament with three (3) other local Mexican youth teams participating (when possible)
• Arrange a minimum of three (3) other organized ‘friendly matches” against local youth club teams. (Referees, uniforms, locker rooms, etc.)

• Separate housing for female EduKick participants

EduKick Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Historic & Cultural Information: The program is based in the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta, which lies on Bahia Banderas, the second largest natural bay in North America and has over 100 miles of coast line, it is a haven for anyone who enjoys any type of beach activity, from whale watching to parasailing. Bungee jumping over the Pacific, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing or fishing are yours for the asking. The surf, at most beaches is normally very calm and safe for swimming year around.

Distinctly different beach zones with more than forty individual beaches mark Puerto Vallarta as one of the favorite destinations for the true beach lover. The first zone is north of Puerto Vallarta. Playa de Oro and the Marina district are here. The Playa de Oro is a wide, sandy beach with a few rocky areas interspersed. It is also very popular with guests and locals alike, because of its water sports. Even further north, the beaches of Banderas Bay are pristine and quiet as they reach up toward Punta de Mita. If you're into surfing, these northern beaches, which are subject to strong surf, perfect for catching a wave, the best windsurfing also takes place in this area.

Puerto Vallarta's most popular beach, Playa de los Muertos, is located just south of the malecon and the River Cuale. This beach is surrounded by the neighborhood of Olas Altas (Old Town or Zona Romantica), with it's indescribable variety of restaurants and shops. It is lined with beachfront hotels and restaurants and is usually bustling with activity, sun worshipers by day, the dining and nightlife crowd after dark. The beachfront bars and restaurants in this area are a great place to catch one of the incredible Vallarta sunsets.

South of town, you'll find numerous small coves and beaches. Playa de Mismaloya used to be a quiet, fairly remote cove, it is still fairly remote and remains a beautiful beach in spite of development and is a great place to relax on the beach for a day. Boca de Tomatlan, the last beach that is accessible by road is more primitive with several small seafood restaurants and taco stands. It is a great swimming beach, very quite and peaceful.

"EduKick Vallarta "Eco-Cultural" excursions will take participating youth to the ocean and the jungle!

Camp Director
Participating youth will train daily under the direction of EduKick Mexico Head Coach, Armando Cosilion of CODEFUT Soccer School (based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico). Mr. Cosilion (below at left with EduKick V.P., Joey Bilotta in Puerto Vallarta in January 2008), is President of Copa Vallarta and CODEFUT Soccer School. He and his Codefut Soccer School staff will direct the EduKick Vallarta summer camp including overseeing all of the day-to-day logistics and activities of the Spanish Language Immersion Soccer Training Camp.
