 students and is being hosted this year by Whittier College. Efriam Fuentes, Ed.D., Director of Multicultural Programs at Disney Corp, will deliver the inspirational message. Efriam is responsible for reinforcing and enhancing the Walt Disney Company's commitment to employment, community relations, philanthropy and corporate responsibiity with the Asian, Hispaic/Latino and Native-American Communities.

Over 400 parents are expected to attend the Orgullo Conference from all over Los Angeles County. The entire conference will be Bilingual Spanish. Free childcare is provided by Whittier City School

 District Staff, a continental breakfast will be available to parents at registration and a delicious lunch. The panel of Latino professionals include Rafael Rubalcava, M.D., Ilda Rueda De Leon, Ph.D., Psychologist; Felipe Plascencia, Attorney at Law, and Claudia Ramired-Weidman, Ed.D., Professor at Whittier College.

Two workshops will be offered to parents from the following topics: What are the differences between the many types of colleges and universities? How does financial aid work?
