, training and testing for entry level reps who want to gain entry into the pharmaceutical industry as well as continuing education for current reps.
Any applicant who passes the NAPSR examination with a score of 80% or better will receive the Federal Certification Mark of the CNPR. The certification (CNPR™) is marketed to the pharmaceutical industry. The CNPR™ examination and the NAPSR™’s Training Manual were compiled by surveying the pharmaceutical community. The training program topics consist of the results from those surveys. NAPSR™ certification and entry level training program is the largest in the United States. The examination/certification is an opportunity to expand the professional knowledge base of the pharmaceutical industry, changing regulations, good selling practices and the highest standard of ethics.
The NAPSR provides a self-paced course with open enrollment, i.e. you can enroll and start the course at any time during the year. The course can be ordered directly from the NAPSR but will also be offered in partnership with colleges and universities nationwide.
