"Nurturing Champions and Sports Role Models" Special Encore Presentation Hosted by the Sport Mavericks, Smart Talk for Parents of Athletes -June 7th, 8 pm EST and 5 pm PST on Voiceamerica.com

June 6, 2005 - An athlete is under a microscope everyday, and anything that they do or say impacts their family, their team, his or her careers, a school's goodwill, and how the media and the general public perceive an athlete as a role model.

 “  Sport Maverick
The subject of "who is a perfect role model" has been debated widely in sports by Tiger Woods, Charles Barkley, Mia Hamm, Shaquille O'Neal, William Sisters and the media. Few have debated the question of "How To Raise Role Models and Nurture The Champion Within?" Dave and Evelyn Magley, as parents know a lot about this subject. The Magley's have done just that-- raise not one, but four champion role models.

On June 7th at 8 p.m. (EST) and 5 p.m. (PST) on Sport Mavericks, Smarttalk For Parents of Athletes,(voiceamerica.com), Dave and Evelyn will share their experiences, and offer some valuable tips to parents, coaches and the media. Dave and Evelyn are both accomplished athletes and professionals in their own right. Coach Dave Magley is a former NBA and All-Conference Basketball Player. Dave is presently the Head Basketball Coach of Bradenton Christian School
