Northern Kentucky Montessori Center Adds Teacher to Staff

June 4, 2005 -- Northern Kentucky Montessori Center (NKMC) announced today that Valerie Pugne has joined the staff as a teacher in its early childhood program. In this role, Pugne will be responsible for teaching children ages 3-6.

A Northern Kentucky native, Pugne graduated from Xavier University in May 2005 with a Master’s degree in Montessori Education. As part of her training, she spent a year in an assistant teaching position at Prince of Peace Montessori in Covington as well as student teaching at both Mercy Montessori and Dater Montessori schools in Cincinnati. In addition to her M.Ed., Pugne, who is the daughter of Barbara Pugne of Wallace Woods in Covington, Kentucky, also holds a dual degree in Psychology and Integrated Strategic Design from the University of Kentucky.
