 takes pride in having small class sizes and providing a one-on-one learning experience with one of the nation’s best stylist.

Indiana’s Premier Hair Academy, also known as the “makeover school”, has been providing instruction for the past two years. The school was founded by nationally acclaimed stylists Josef and Shaun Settle of Avon, Indiana. “The school has really taken off,” stated Josef Settle. “We really teach a unique curriculum and the word is spreading. Our students get hired by some of the top salons in the area and I think these two factors have really sparked our growth,” continued Settle. In addition to the school Josef and Shaun own Avant Gard a nationally top ranked salon in Avon.

The school is adding a new instructor this fall to allow more students to enroll. Lisa Reams will begin teaching students in October. “I am really excited about the opportunities at Premier Hair Academy and working with Josef,” commented Reams. The addition of Reams will increase the schools capacity to 40 students at any given time.

Indiana’s Premier Hair Academy will hold a Fall Open House on Monday October 17th from 6 to 7pm. Prospective students are invited to tour the school and learn more information about the industry. Josef Settle will give a short presentation at 7pm with a question and answer period to follow.

The school is located on the west side of Indianapolis just off 465 at the 10th Street Exit. The location includes a class room, training facility and working salon that allows student to get hand-on experience. Premier Hair Academy offers a 1,500 hour program and has several financial options available. The school frequently has guest appearances by some of the top stylists in the country.
