Craig Donohue, CEO of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. is elected as the NCEE's new Chairman of the Board to help lead the Campaign for Economic and Financial Literacy.

 (NCEE, www.ncee.net) today announced that on October 17th, Craig Donohue, Chief Executive Officer of Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (CME Holdings) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME), was elected Chairman of the Board for a 3-year term.

The NCEE Board of Directors, chaired by Harold McGraw III, Chairman, President & CEO of The McGraw-Hill Companies, elected Mr. Donohue as the new Chairman because of his commitment to the NCEE's distinctive goal of improving economic and financial literacy for America's students and teachers. Mr. Donohue previously served as Vice Chairman and Chairman-Elect of the Board as well as Chairman of the Development Committee and Chairman of the NCEE Visionary Awards Annual Dinner.

Donohue has served as CEO of CME Holdings and CME since January 2004. He began working for CME as an attorney in 1989. Before joining CME, Donohue was associated with the Chicago law firm of McBride, Baker & Coles. In addition to serving on the Boards of CME Holdings, CME and NCEE, Donohue is a member of the Board of Directors of the Executives' Club of Chicago, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Global Markets Advisory Committee and Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook's Advisory Council.

Donohue holds a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School
