TwigPod Productions will enable campus administrators and admissions officers to use the vastly popular podcasting technology to market campus events and target students for admissions. Podcasting is the distribution of radio-type content that uses RSS, Really Simple Syndication, an XML-based format, to deliver MP3 audio files. Although named after Apple Computer's popular iPod player, the device is not required to listen to the audio clip. In fact, podcasts can be listened to with any computer or MP3 player that has Internet connectivity.
