(PRWEB) March 27, 2006 -- Dorothy Eckes, CPCC, ORSC and Laura Friedland, RN.BSN, Life Coach, have completed a 20 hour pilot coaching a group of teen girls in a delinquency prevention program at GIRLS, INC in center city Philadelphia. Confident that coaching is exactly what teens need to thrive, the two coaches donated their time and developed curriculum specifically for this population. The program impacted the girls to the extent that it has been funded to continue as a permanent part of GIRLS, INC. The funding for the next leg of the journey is coming from COACHING KIDS, INC, a non-profit organization who, like GIRLS, INC, is dedicated to supporting and expanding the lives of our kids. This collaboration speaks to the dedication of a team of visionaries who work tirelessly for the growth and advancement of our society.
Dorothy and Laura are powerful co-leaders who work with teenagers exploring their potential, making choices that serve themselves and the world, maximizing their gifts and talents, and exploding through the limitations of circumstance. Educated at The Coaches’ Training Institute and passionate about liberating youth to fully self-express, they deliver co-actively, co-creatively and seamlessly.
