(PRWEB) August 13, 2007 -- JDEtips Journal, a cutting edge publication dedicated to providing JD Edwards clients with previously undocumented tips, tricks and best practices to help maximize the value of their JDE investment, is now paying contributing authors $1000 per published article or white paper. This increase doubles the previous amount paid, reflecting the value of the information published.

"We're ready to put our money where our mouth is and starting with our July/August 2007 issue of JDEtips Journal, we are offering $1,000 for each published article and white paper," say Andy Klee, president of Klee Associates, publisher of JDEtips Journal. "Our commitment is to provide the best possible JD Edwards information in the Journal, and we're willing to make it worth your while."

Articles to be submitted for consideration must be at least 1500 words in length and a minimum of 8 pages including graphics. White papers submitted must also be a minimum of 1500 words, and 12 to 50 pages in length with graphics. For more information, including a list of topics needed, prospective authors should go to www.jdetips.com/TipSubmit.asp for more information. Many consultants and clients have contributed articles to the Journal in the past.

In other JDEtips news, JDEtips University's Fall course registrations are running a month ahead of schedule, and several classes are close to filled, reports Andy Klee. Slated for October and November in Dallas, Texas, the popular public workshop lineup includes two new classes: Implementing Lean, which delves into implementing Lean manufacturing principles with either JD Edwards World or EnterpriseOne software, and ERW II, a follow-up to the introductory report writing class, ERW. Other classes focus on most of the major modules in Financials, Distribution, and Manufacturing, along with two classes for EnterpriseOne developers.

JDEtips Mastery Level workshops are taught in a group-live environment, and many of the courses qualify for continuing education
