Martin University is part of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s second phase of its Initiative to Strengthen Philanthropy for Indiana Higher Education

. The university stands to net $1 million dollars if it raises the same amount from donor individuals and organizations. The matching period concludes December 31, 2006. The endowment’s matching basis is $1 (grantor)-for-$1 (grantee).
