 Wellness Policies: A Team Approach Satellite Training. The training is designed to help with the new federal requirement for a local wellness policy. The program is open to all interested contributors available statewide at Georgia Education Training Centers and offered on two days, February 15th at 4 p.m. and February 22nd at 9 a.m. SPACE IS LIMITED.

 “  These sessions will inform attendees about the pressing need to develop local school district wellness policies and tutor them on how to create, write, and put these policies into practice, prior to the start of the 2006-07 school yea...

 about federal requirements for wellness policies from expert sources, including the Superintendent of Schools, the Director of School and Community Nutrition, and local PE Specialists. Attendees will also hear about resources they can use to assist in developing and implementing strong policies, other districts' successes.
