, were recently recognized by Walt Disney World Co. and the Department of Environmental Protection as Northeast District Champions for demonstrating an enormous impact on the local environment.
Students from Mr. Thomas and Ms. Kurich’s classes joined together to participate in Disney’s annual Jiminy Cricket’s Environmentality Challenge. They researched manatees and shared their discoveries with the community. Their project garnered Cornerstone Elementary with a $500 check to further science
