and Math Learning Systems, each with 80–88 titles including software, video, audio books and reference materials.
“ The great advantage of the Learning System is that it is an integrated, multimedia system ”
With the Learning System's stand alone, menu driven approach to multimedia learning, all you do is put the disk in your PC or Mac and start. No swapping disks. No need to go on line. If you want to look up a word or a subject while you are studying, you pause and use the included dictionary or encyclopedia or other reference book and then continue where you left off. This is an integrated system developed entirely by Fogware who write their own software exclusively for the Learning System.
The 2007 release, which will begin shipping June 15th, 2006, not only adds titles and updates material; for the first time the package includes ebooks, audio books and video content that can be downloaded onto an iPod and listened to or watched anywhere.
Fogware's pioneering addition of MP4 video to the package is an industry first and the company is currently in the process of converting all of its educational software so that it can all be played on an iPod, greatly increasing its portability.
"The great advantage of the Learning System is that it is an integrated, multimedia system," explains Fogware President and co-founder, Mike Rothstein. Everything needed for a multimedia learning experience is available on the disks. "We are an educational content developer and provider and we are growing with the technology," he says.
The inclusion of iPod-ready lessons is part of the company's approach to making the educational materials contained in the Learning System as broadly available as possible.
The Fogware multi-sensory Learning System is guaranteed to raise students' grades. It presents in-depth coverage of math, geography, history, science, reading and English with tutorials, lessons, tests, quizzes, video and audio books all in an easily assimilated, fun learning environment. It has the important advantage of allowing the student to progress at his or her own pace, reviewing materials as much and as often as needed to really get them, without the feeling that one is holding up the rest of the class (or the frustration of being held up by the rest of the class).
A full range of reference titles are included, such as Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, 101 Barron’s Book Notes, and Barron’s Concise Enclyclopedia.
The Learning System is Windows and Mac compatible. It includes a full Study Guide and printable tests which permit students and parents to monitor progress.
This year's release with its added iPod and mobile functionality is a considerable step forward and confirms Fogware's leadership position in the educational multimedia field.
Don't miss Fogware's exhibition at E3 in Los Angeles May 10th – 12th in meeting room 7008 and 7010 in Kentia Hall.
