Ms. Rayner, an 11-year teaching veteran who began her Schools Attuned participation in 2003, has always utilized a child-centered approach to her teaching. “I have used many techniques in the classroom for years, but didn’t know why some worked better than others for students. I have since learned new techniques that have helped all the kids in my class really blossom,” she said.
"Ruthie Rayner sets a stellar example for other teachers to follow. We add our accolades to her national award," said Mary-Dean Barringer, National Director of the Schools Attuned Program.
