EduKick Rome Excursions:
Excursion Tour of Roma
Bus and walking tour of Rome to visit allof the historical site including; The Coliseum, Palatine Hill, Loggia Mattei, Roman Forum Campidoglio, Capitoline Hill, Panorama from Caffareli Terrace, Trevi Founatin, Pantheon, Piazza Navona Square, St. Peter’s Basilica, Catsel Sant’Angelo, Tiberina Island, Venice Square, Bocca della verità, Circus Maximus, and the Spanish steps.

Experience the fascination of the Eternal City on our walking tour! You'll see it all as our native English-speaking guide take you to spectacular ancient Roman ruins, masterpieces of the Renaissance, delightful Baroque fountains, and charming medieval backstreets! We'll tell you the history, the legends, and the astonishing secrets of Rome and the Vatican.

Coliseum: Also known as the Flavian amphitheater after its iniator Vespasian, first of the Flavian emperors who had it built in the 1rst century A.D. It is the largest amphitheater on the ancient world. Fifty thousand spectators could be seated in the stands to watch the hunts (venationes) and the gladiator fights (ludi gladiatorii). It was only used until 15th century, but the mysterious and imposing fascination of the edifice has gone beyond the limits of history making it a legend.

Palatine Hill:
The ancient palatium, historical residence of the Caesars, from whose name is derived the use of the term "Palace" to indicate a seat of official power. Many historical events and attempts of preservation have altered the hill, which is today an extended archeological area, complex and imposing with its ruins of the edifices built by Domitian and rediscovered by archaeologists in the 20th century.

Roman Forum:
Public life in ancient Rome was carried out here, between the closed spaces of the Basilicas and the open ones of the square itself, between the Senate and the temples honoring the origins of Rome and its mythical founders. A walk through the ruins of the Forum always offers great surprises, providing the visitor with unforgettable glimpses and impressions of ancient life.

Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill):
In the Republican Age the sacred temples dedicated to the Capitoline Triad (Jupiter, Juno, Minerva) were located on this acropolis. In the Middle Ages its use was changed and it became the seat of city government, which it is still today. The square now appears in the splendid Renaissance style designed by Michelangelo in middle of the 16th century.

Excursion to "Monte Terminillo" - Excursion hike from the "Sebastiani Refuge" to "Sigillo" - from the Sebastiani refuge you hike a bit untill you get to the path that enters "Valle Scura." At this point, you hike down a path through beautful Italian country meadows and stony terrain until you enter the woods.

Before arriving at the tightest point of the valley, the path turns left going through the locality of "Malopasso." Here the mountain drops 50 meters, emphasized by water gushing from a gorgeous waterfall.

When the path becomes a dirt road you are near the locality of "Casette", a small, uninhabited mountain village where it's possible to see signs of a mountain culture now long past. A little bit further on, you will pass the typical Italian mountain town of "Sigillo".

Excursion to Tyrrhenian Coast (Beach Civitavecchia, Santa Marinella, Santa Severa)
EduKick Rome players will visit the Italian town of Civitavecchia and visit the Harbour! Afterwards, our beach excursion will take EduKick Rome particpants to visit Santa Severa Castle and Santa Marinella Beach .

The sea of Civitavecchia is one of the most important resources in the area, but the reason why people so willingly visit this city, especially in Summer, is to relax on the lovely sandy beaches or reefs that are a feature of the Civitavecchia coastline, or in the shade of the pine trees that grow close to the shore.

Furthermore, the Civitavecchia coastline has some of the cleanest waters on the Tyrrhenian sea; the numerous Poseidon bushes which grow all the way into the water when the tide is low, confirm that this is a particularly healthy and clean sea environment, an environment that is also rich in beautiful with rocky sea beds populated by numerous species of fish, shellfish, and crayfish.
